For years now, we have watched Sonic commercials, drooling, and not able to satisfy our curiosity. Because the nearest Sonic was 3 hours away!
But, now a new one has been built in Dover, DE.... Only 1 1/2 hours away!
We were finally able to park in the Drive-In, take time looking at the menu without worrying about people behind us, watch employees earn their keep while on roller skates, and eating in the comforts of our own car, listening to our own music.... Wonderful!
Too bad that the day we decided to try it was on a Friday... during Lent! No Meat!
Oh well, gives us an excuse to go back. The shake I tried was awesome!

didn't know there was one in Dover...will have to try it next time we go to mom and dad's!
Yeah we have them in Cali but most of them are in Bakersfield which is 3 hours away. There is one on Oceanside which is 20 minutes from us here is San Clemente. We get those commercials too but for most people in Orange and LA County there isn't one near by.
