Are we still on for "See you on the Flip Side" in Summer 2010?
Did some initial research and found this house on www.vrbo.com (vacation rental by owner): http://www.vrbo.com/19425
It does not have an August calendar out, but it is available the week after July 4th, 7/10 - 7/17/10. It sleeps 18 and has a pool.
I guess we need to figure out how many people are in for the reunion and what date works best for everyone???
Please let me know your thoughts...

Sounds good to me...The place looks awesome..Was this the place where Jon and Kate stayed out lol...anyways we're in...wait..is this just for the young folk?
I thought the same exact thing about Jon and Kate...how funny! The pool looked very familiar...where they had swimming lessons for the kids!

This is just a sample house and not the exact one...but we can start from here...
What Muriel, Mark and I were discussing is that whoever flies in, flies into Norfolk, VA (which is the closest airport, 70 miles away from the northern end of OBX). Then we will coordinate ourselves to pick people up, unless people want to rent cars. Also, this is something to keep in mind when looking for a place there. Stay on the northern end of the Outer Banks, as it can be 5+ hours to drive to the southern end.
We are in at about 70%. Just need to work it all out on our end. The mansion looks awesome. We're at 2% if Jon and Kate are anywhere near that place. They can leave the kids, but they're out. I don't even watch the show, but that's where I stand.
I'm sure the clan elders would love to be there. wow.. if this comes together, we will have to tell the local authorities that there will be a flip invasion.
Looks like Ging has either been there or done some research. We'll do whatever is recommended as far as travel arrangements. If flights are coordinated from the west, then we can all hijack (this blog will now be tracked by the US govt...hi guys) the same plane into the recommended airport and rent large vans to take us to the place.
Nope, haven't been there. Just did some research. Michelle de Leon was just down in the Outer Banks in July and said we'd all love it. Can't wait!
Boo to Jon and Kate and the authorities that will be following us down there. :-)
